Welcome to Choice Coach. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Choice Coach website, mobile application, and services (collectively, the “Platform”). By using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
1. Definitions
“Choice Coach,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refers to Choice Coach Company.
“User” means any person using the Platform, including Coaches and Clients.
“Coach” means a registered user offering coaching services through the Platform.
“Client” means a registered user seeking coaching services through the Platform.
“Expertise Areas” means the categories of coaching selected by Coaches to describe their services.
“Interest Areas” means the categories of coaching selected by Clients to indicate what they are seeking.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform.
Coaches must accurately represent their qualifications, expertise, and services.
By using the Platform, you confirm that all information you provide is true, accurate, and complete.
3. Our Services
Choice Coach is a matching platform that helps connect Coaches and Clients based on Expertise Areas and Interest Areas.
We do not provide coaching services directly. All coaching engagements occur outside our Platform and are solely between Coaches and Clients.
Matches are generated by our algorithm and are not guaranteed.
4. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login information.
You agree to notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.
5. Responsibilities of Coaches
Coaches must provide accurate and truthful profiles, including credentials and experience.
Coaches are solely responsible for complying with any licensing, certification, or professional requirements applicable to their services.
Coaches agree not to misrepresent qualifications or make false claims.
6. Responsibilities of Clients
Clients are responsible for reviewing and evaluating Coaches before engaging their services.
Clients understand that Choice Coach does not guarantee any particular outcome from coaching.
Clients agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes.
7. Payments
At launch, the Platform is free to use.
Choice Coach Company may introduce fees in the future. We will notify Users in advance and update these Terms accordingly.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: Upload false, misleading, defamatory, discriminatory, or infringing content.
Use the Platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
Attempt to interfere with the security or operation of the Platform.
9. Disclaimers
Choice Coach provides the Platform on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We do not guarantee that matches will result in successful coaching relationships.
We are not responsible for disputes, claims, or damages arising from interactions between Coaches and Clients.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law: Choice Coach Company is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the greater of: (i) the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, or (ii) $100.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Choice Coach Company from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your interactions with other Users.
12. Intellectual Property
All content and materials on the Platform (excluding user-provided content) are the property of Choice Coach Company.
You retain rights to your own content but grant us a license to display, distribute, and promote it on the Platform.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms.
You may stop using the Platform and request account deletion at any time.
14. Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of [insert jurisdiction, e.g., Oregon or Delaware].
Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or mediation, unless prohibited by law.
